Every group facilitator needs to know about this

I originally shared this important article in the Winter of 2016. I’m sharing it again now with some updated content. I hope you enjoy…

Let’s talk about one of the most important skills necessary for Master Facilitators to create transformational experiences: the ability to create a tight and connected community among participants in the room.

As a facilitator, if you’re able to create Sisterhood (if you work with women only) and community in the room, then you are poised to be able to create massive results with your participants.

Leveraging the Shadow for Greater Client Transformation

One thing I go deep into when I support clients to become Master Facilitators or Master Coaches is to understand the Shadow, all its layers, and how to effectively use it in your facilitation and 1:1 work to help your clients move past limiting patterns and obstacles.

When I train my Master Facilitators on all this in person, a core tenet is that you can’t support your clients with their Shadows if you’re not willing to fully look at your own. And so we go very deep into magically and sacredly helping you journey to the depths of your soul to come face to face and then become friends with your Shadow.

10 Things I’m doing right now

10thingsFor many people – myself included – it’s been a trying few weeks since the U.S. elections.

To be fair, it’s been a trying year.
I’m honestly kind of really over 2016.

Amidst all of this, I’ve been incredibly reflective – processing, listening to my emotions, understanding my fears…. READ MORE

(vulnerability alert) Facing a hard truth about myself

It’s been nearly 3 months since I sent you my last newsletter…which is record-breaking because for many, many years I’ve faithfully shared an article and content every single week.

I’m a big believer in being persistent and consistent, and teach this to my clients all the time. For example – if you’re going to have a newsletter, the way to make it most effective is to send it out regularly. It’s a rule I have lived by.

So why have you not really heard from me since July?

Well, two monumental things happened simultaneously.

The first is that mid-Summer I became TIRED. I’m not talking a little tired; I’m talking the kind of tired that has you want to stop everything, stay in your PJs for a month, and watch bad TV.

It’s one I want you to hear because it will

everyone else in
your life.

This story starts in March 2014, a month before Yael, my younger
daughter, was

4 Sales Conversation “no-no”s

no-no-no-310x296Over the last few weeks, I’ve been sharing with you a lot of tools about successful enrollment conversation – because you can have the BEST marketing or referrals EVER, but if you don’t know how to have powerful sales conversations, none of that matters.

You need to master sales calls in order to make those sales.

Through the years, I’ve seen a lot of sales “mistakes” made by amazing entrepreneurs (myself included!) – mistakes that can cost you conversions, cost you potential income, and keep you from making the impact you’re meant to make.

Here are a few of the most common “no-no”s I see: READ MORE

My favorite Springtime Ritual for Business & Life

spring-06-310As you may know, I love rituals. I use them to create peace, balance, joy and success in all areas of my life, and I take special care to use the power of the Seasons to do all this.

Springtime is the moment of Re-birth.

It’s the time when the days are finally as long as the nights, the animals begin to come out of their hibernation and give birth to new little ones, colorful life and buds appear on trees and bushes, and it even smells like new beginnings and new life in the air.

Our lives reflect what happens in nature: It is so normal and natural for things to get dusty during January and February, even if you were on fire for them while making your New Year’s Resolutions.

Why?
