Congratulations! So you have finally allowed yourself to recognize (even if just a little bit, like a tiny little whisper) the deep calling of your heart – that you would like to leave your job, write a novel, create a family, start painting portraits, really expand your business in order to reach more people, whatever it may be. But before you are even able to pick up a paintbrush, or make an hour of time in your busy schedule to write, you are bombarded by a slew of criticism whether internal or external.
Sometimes this criticism is enough to make you close the door and double bolt your soul-centered desire all together! What was I thinking?! You may ask yourself.
Well, I want to give you the opportunity today to move out of questioning yourself and being stuck, and onto a path of truly and deeply honoring that soul-calling.
I’m going to let you in on an amazing tool that will help you stay centered and strong no matter what rears its head on your path toward soul-centered living and success. This tool will give you a perspective so wide, so large, so breathtakingly all-encompassing that it will affect every action you make. It’s called your Soul-centered Vision.
This is one of the very first ones I give the women in my Women’s Intuitive Leadership Program. Your soul-centered Vision is part of a three part process that is your sure-fire way to feel energized, excited, and moving forward swiftly on your Soul-centered Projects. (This process also consists of a Soul-centered Mission and Soul-centered Goals. We’ll get to these other pieces in upcoming articles.!)
As you probably know by now: having a great idea is NOT enough to successfully and joyfully complete your goals. You must also have a Vision for your goal. And, in order to be successful and energized around your goals, it’s imperative that your vision come straight from your soul – so that it reflects what you want MOST for the yourself and the world.
Your Soul-centered Vision is literally a statement that guides the way you view the world and the way you move through it. It is what drives your soul-centered project, and what allows you to feel passionate about it, even when you are doing some tasks for it that don’t excite you or when you encounter obstacles in your way. Your soul-centered vision is what helps you get up in the morning and look forward to a new day of working on your business, career, creative goal, relationship – whatever your project is!
In other words, your vision is very much about your values and your priorities in life – your vision is about what is important to you and your heart.
Your vision could be anything from working toward a world where people love how they look and feel, to a world where there are no more wars, to a world where there is peace between mankind. It’s about what is important to you and your heart. Ideally it is something you should be working on each day whether you are at work or having lunch with a friend.
For example, if your vision is to create a world where the earth is held sacred and respected you may be creating organic, bio-degradable products as your job but you are also recycling at home. When you get clear on your Soul-centered vision you will also naturally want to live it in all areas of your life. Imagine how your life might be different. That is what your soul-centered vision is about.
My own Soul-centered vision is that women and men honor themselves and their wisdom so deeply that they heal the world through their business, their projects and their family. All of the products, services, and content I create for my business relate to this vision directly, and the way I live my personal life does as well.
Creating a vision will help you get so clear on your purpose that you will be able to intuitively know exactly what steps you want to take next, what content to write for articles or presentations, what type of exercise or self-care is right for you, what clients are right for you, and more. It will really be the guiding light to EVERYTHING you do!
I encourage everyone to create their soul-centered Vision statement, and to then remember it, read it aloud, and use it daily!
